The first time Chief and Bert ate side by side I grabbed the camera and a kleenex. Then - when they slept together the first time I was the proudest Mom! The best is yet to come - enjoy your new peaceful family.
When we were first married, we each had a cat. His cat hated my cat (kitten) and wouldn't go near him. One day, I came home early and found him on the recliner seat and her on top of the recliner back. Closest they ever got without fur flying. Glad your two made friends better than ours did.
Hooray! Acceptance. I have to admit, deep down, I didn't think it would happen. After hearing about kitty on the fridge. Miracles do happen (even small ones).
